This privacy policy describes how Meize Production s.r.o. processes the personal data of visitors to this website, in particular through the contact form. Personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. on personal data processing.
1. Data controller

2. What personal data we process
When you submit the contact form, we process: • your name, • your e-mail address, • the content of your message. For security and technical reasons we also process: • your IP address, • the date and time of form submission. Providing this data is voluntary. However, without it we may not be able to respond to your enquiry.
3. Purpose and legal basis of processing
We process your personal data for the purpose of: • handling your enquiry, • follow-up communication, • protecting the website against misuse. The legal basis for processing is: • Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract, or • Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in handling enquiries and protecting the contact form against misuse.
4. Retention of personal data
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose of processing, and in any case for no more than 24 months from the end of our mutual communication. If legal obligations arise from the communication (for example accounting or tax obligations), we retain the relevant data for the period required by law. After these periods expire, the data is securely deleted.
5. Recipients and processors of personal data
We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Access may be granted only to our contractual processors providing technical services, in particular: • Vercel Inc. – hosting provider, • THINline s.r.o. (Czech Hosting) – e-mail services provider, • Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC – Google reCAPTCHA service protecting the contact form against misuse. Google reCAPTCHA may process, for example, your IP address, device information, browser, operating system and interaction with the website in order to identify automated requests. We have data processing agreements in place with our processors where required by GDPR.
6. Transfers of personal data outside the European Economic Area
Some of our technical service providers may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, transfers take place only under the conditions set out in GDPR and with appropriate safeguards under Articles 44 et seq. GDPR, for example on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or an adequacy decision of the European Commission.
7. Your rights
In connection with the processing of personal data, you have the right to: • request access to your personal data, • request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data, • request erasure of personal data, • request restriction of processing, • receive your data in a portable format, • object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may exercise your rights by e-mail at info@meize.cz. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, Pplk. 8. Cookies and third-party content
This website uses only strictly necessary cookies required for the proper functioning of the site (for example to store language or appearance settings). We do not use our own analytics or marketing cookies. Some pages may embed videos via Vimeo. When they are displayed or played, Vimeo, Inc. may process technical data such as your IP address, device or browser information, or video playback data, and may store its own cookies in accordance with its privacy policy. The contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which may also use its own cookies or similar technologies to protect the website against misuse.
9. Security
All communication between your device and our servers is secured using HTTPS encryption. Only authorised persons who need access to personal data for their work have access to it, and they are bound by a duty of confidentiality or a similar contractual obligation. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
